About the Author
Renee Langstaff
Renee graduated With Distinction from Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant Program where she now is the Program Director and Chair of Department of Medical Science. She was awarded the prestigious Alumni Achievement Award in 2013 in recognition of a stellar record of academic excellence as a physician assistant student at Arcadia University as well as continuing success as a clinician, educator, and health care advocate. She has twenty years of experience in cardiology and still practices clinically in this field.
Born and raised in Ogdensburg, New York, Renee now resides in the Philadelphia region. She has two children, Domenic and Gabriella and is “Fairy Godmother” to Sydney, who was born with congenital heart defects. She is a former collegiate swimmer and has highlighted her mission in several international swims between Canada and New York. In her free time you will find her at the gym, reading, or brushing up on her photography skills.
