Renee Langstaff

Renee Langstaff is the founder of Sidz Kidz, LLC. The Sidz Kidz mission is to prevent sudden cardiac death in youth through cardiac screenings, AED availability, education, and research, as well as to support families in dealing with a cardiac diagnosis in children. Sidz Kidz is a heart centered organization which donates a portion of all proceeds to support this mission. Renee also serves as the Screening Coordinator for Simon’s Heart, a non-profit organization dedicated to this same vision.

Renee graduated With Distinction from Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant Program. She was awarded the prestigious Alumni Achievement Award in 2013 in recognition of a stellar record of academic excellence as a physician assistant student at Arcadia University, as well as continuing success as a clinician, educator, and health care advocate. In 2019 she was inducted into the National Honor Society for Physician Assistants, Pi Alpha, in recognition of her academic, leadership, and community service achievements. She has twenty-four years of experience in cardiovascular medicine and ten years of experience in physician assistant education. She currently serves as the Department of Medical Science Chair and Physician Associate Program Director at Alvernia University.

Born and raised in Ogdensburg, New York, Renee now resides outside of Reading, Pennsylvania. She has two children, Domenic and Gabriella, and is “Fairy Godmother” to Sydney, who was born with congenital heart defects. She is a former collegiate swimmer and has highlighted her mission in several international swims between Canada and New York. In her free time, you will find her on her Peloton bike, reading, or brushing up on her photography skills.
